Pre-ordering a model car: how does it work?
Collector model cars (BBR, MR Collection, GT Spirit, OttOmobile, Spark…) are produced in limited series, and the most sought-after models often sell out before they even arrive. Pre-ordering lets you reserve your copy as soon as the manufacturer announces the model, in 1:18, 1:12 or 1:8 scale.
Pay in full or with a deposit
You can pay for your pre-order in full. For most models, you can also pay a simple deposit (around 10% of the price, plus shipping) to reserve it. The balance is never charged automatically: a few days before the model arrives in stock, you receive a secure payment link by email. All about partial payment
Arrival dates
The dates shown, for example “Pre-order (Q1 2027)” (Q1 = January to March), are estimates provided by the manufacturers. They change as new information comes in and may be updated without notice: no delivery date can be guaranteed. Your model ships as soon as it arrives in stock, once the balance is paid if you chose the deposit.
